Acer intros TravelMate Timeline Series of notebook PCs for business users


Acer-TM8571-8537Acer has announced a range of notebook PCs for its TravelMate Timeline series. Crafted especially for the professionals on the move, the super-thin mobile workhorse notebooks are christened as the 8571, 8471 and 8371. Available in various configurations, the Acer devices sprint on Windows 7 Professional (32-bit) and comes included with the Windows XP Professional CD.

These devices are also packed in with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, Intel GM45 Express chipset,  320GB SATA hard drive, 4GB (2/2) DDR3 1066 SDRAM, 5-in-1 digital media card reader, included Super-Multi drive, Acer Crystal Eye webcam, three USB ports, HDMI port and connectivity options,; gigabit LAN and 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N WLAN.

Acer TravelMate Timeline TM8571-8537 is featured with a 15.6-inch screen whereas the TM8471-8818 comes included with a 14.1-inch display. Further features of these devices are Intel GM45 Express chipset, 3GB (2/1) DDR3 1066 SDRAM, integrated Super-Multi drive, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, 250GB SATA hard drive, 5-in-1 dm card reader Acer Crystal Eye webcam, Energy Star 5.0 compliant. The two laptops come with the price tag of around $899 (approx Rs. 42,108) each.

These Acer models come supported by a 1-year parts and labor warranty, extended for up to 3-years more alongside the Acer Advantage service. Besides, some models come with extended warranty provided by channel partners.

Acer TravelMate Timeline TM8571-6465 with in-built 15.6-inch display, TM8471-6306 with integrated 14.0-inch display and TM8371-6457 incorporating 13.3-inch display are driven by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9400 (800MHz FSB,1.40GHz, 3MB L2 cache).

All of these products come with their respective price tag, which start from $999 (approx Rs. 46,790), $999 (approx Rs. 46,790) and $919 (approx Rs. 43,043).

So, if you are on the move all time, then the TravelMate Timeline series from Acer is the prefect option for you as it boasts of providing outstanding performance and capabilities at a price that too won’t disappoint you. The series, though, have countable devices, all of them have something special to grab the attention of netbook’s enthusiasts.
