Acer rolls out Veriton N260G Nettop in US

Acer has launched its much-talked Veriton N260G nettop in the USA just a few months after the introduction of gaming PC known as Predator. It shows that the company is once again eyeing at the professional market.
The Acer Veriton N260G is a U2802CP ultra-compact nettop. It is claimed to be of great use for the professional market. The small and compact frame of Veriton N260G make it a perfect device for reception areas, small offices, classrooms, libraries, showrooms, call centers, hotel front desks or airline check-in kiosks.
That’s why Leila Axelle Robert of Acer, was quoted to have said that integrating a sleek form factor with power saving technology, Veriton N260G isn’t only a low-maintenance, but also a very convenient device, which can be used for accomplishing basic computing tasks in areas where there is so called desk space.
The nettop also comes integrated with a low power consuming Intel Atom processor and the Intel GN40 Express chipset. The blend brings a better platform to boost productivity. The device also gives support to Internet-based applications.
The striking and glaring attributes of Acer nettop are: 2GB of memory, PowerSaver technology, 160GB hard drive and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M. The Veriton N260G also comes with Energy Star specs.
The VESA mount ensures that the computing device can be easily attached anywhere. The mount also makes it possible for the power button and the memory card reader to remain accessible.
The device works perfectly during power failure thanks to the OneButton Recovery re-set pinhole. It also has the capacity of restoring systems to retrieve docs. The device features a wide array of ports that help the customers hook up to a host of peripherals and digital devices. The Veriton N260G comes embedded with ControlCenter software to streamline routine tasks and save time.
