Acer Smart Phones now in India

After a long wait, Acer has finally launched three smart phones for its mobile market in India, which are certainly a source of attraction for the youth. The phones have an element of fun and socializing in them through access to socializing websites like Facebook, YouTube, Blogger and Flickr amongst others.
Talking about the best model, NeoTouch S200, this is aimed at high-end users. Having facilities like mail, mobile internet, multimedia and Microsoft office mobile, this handheld device is certainly something attractive for businessmen and conglomerates. It flaunts of a wide, high-resolution touch screen measuring 3.8”, 3G+ connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Qualcomm 1GHZ Snapdragon processor which assures fast internet, excellent multimedia playback and superior graphics for games and other installed applications. It has a built-in 5 mega pixel auto-focus camera with LED flash and VGA video recording. As the features, the phone also boasts of an assisted GPS and Google maps with latitude, street view, traffic, POI search, complete set of productivity applications, automatic wireless and web-based device synchronization. This smart phone weighs 130 gm and has been priced at Rs. 35000.
Next comes the beTouch E200- a smart phone designed especially for people who look for mailing, instant messaging and internet connectivity 24×7. With a 3.0” touch screen and 5 navigation keys, this handheld enables easy touch and scroll browsing, including favorite sites, social networks and online maps. The sliding numeric keypad makes text messaging, instant messaging and e-mailing convenient. Its 3.2 mega pixel camera with video recording allows pictures to be uploaded to social networks easily. This phone is equipped with Acer User Interface and Applications which are easy to use. With a weight of 146 gm, this handheld is priced at Rs. 17,900.
Finally comes the betouch E101. A phone which is again aimed at people on the go. Mailing, Instant messaging, social networking and Internet browsing are some of the things which a person can do who carries this smart handheld. It has a touch screen with a display of 3.2”, scroll wheel, direct links to social networks, instant access to content and applications, customizable home screen and also alternative colored battery covers. Although the phone doesn’t have a camera, it is equipped with the latest version of Internet Explorer, Windows Marketplace and Live Messenger. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.5, the latest Microsoft operating system. This phone weighs 118 gm and costs Rs. 11,900.
