The all new Nokia 6760 is supposedly a very distinctive addition to Nokia’s Smartphone collection. It is very compact and well built handset with its astounding QWERTY keyboard which slides out. It is said to be highly responsive to commands and the user interface offers various options to make it user friendly. This slide messenger is undeniably a striking handset in the midst of all the Smartphone chaos; unfortunately one factor stalls its progress which is the absence of Wi-Fi.
Despite of the lack of Wi-Fi the 6760 provides the consumers with an exquisite experience with its features. The integration of the latest Symbian 9.3 OS the interface provides features similar to the E52 and E72 from Nokia. In spite of weighing at a mere 123 grams it packs a mean punch. One very striking feature is its Symbian phone book which is integrated with Windows Live. This gives the user access to Windows Messenger, Spaces, Msn.com and Hotmail as well.
As the reviews, Nokia seemed to have cut back on the cost to provide a cheaper Smartphone which clearly shows from its 3 megapixel camera. LED flash, auto focus and self portrait mirror are not available which is a huge disappointment. As far as connectivity goes it does not dissatisfy, even with the lack of Wi-Fi the 6760 provides persistent speed and performance.

Similarly Bluetooth, USB 2.0, a 2.5mm audio jack and a quad band GSM/EDGE and Dual band HSDPA are some of its other features. The web browser is excellent and renders pages in both portrait and landscape mode quite easily. This is due to the accelerometer sensors which also ensure that zoom levels can be controlled. A virtual mouse cursor can be activated in the browser which makes it much easier to browse.

Overall the Nokia 6760 slide is a low end Smartphone which is quite capable of competition with higher ranks. most of the competition will be provided by the Corby PRO from Samsung and even few of the LG Smartphones in its range. The robust messaging system, superior hardware and advanced functionally grants the 6760 its advantages. So if you can compromise on the camera and the Wi-Fi than get yourself a Nokia 6760, it’s worth it.
