With a view to offering a superb HD video and audio experience to the costumers, Amino Communications, the top producer of set-top box in Europe, has announced the launch of its most-advanced set-top box. Dubbed as IPTV box, the set-top box gets its power from Intel’s Atom CE4100 processor. The IPTV was showcased in the IDF.
The Amino IPTV set-top box is claimed to fulfill several demands of the users. The latest set-top box also touts to extend total support for HD home-theatre quality audio & video services to the customers. The sophisticated digital device is also claimed to offer support for highly developed 3D graphics.
The Amino IPTV set-top box may stand tall in the market due to its better performance, compatibility and flexibility. The IPTV device is also claimed to double as a unique tool in terms of its hardware components.
The CE4100 processor functions as a USP (unique selling point) of Amino IPTV set-top box because this is the strong media processor from Intel. It also proves to be of high use for home entertainment. It also boasts of boosting consumer experience to new heights.
Keith Wehmeyer, GM of IPTV, Digital Home Group at Intel Corporation, was quoted to have said that an utmost priority is given to the needs for processor performance and first -class graphics and videos. Supported by Intel’s CE4100 media processor, the IPTV set-top box will certainly deliver a high-class entertainment experience to consumers, who are willing to augment their home entertainment system.
The Amino IPTV set-top box also boasts of processing hardware and multi-stream video decoding. The new set-top box is also claimed to offer support for 2-channels of 800MHz DDR2 or 1333MHz DDR3. The new CE4100 processor also boasts of empowering IPTV STBs to get a full open Internet experience. The Amino IPTV also brags of being built-in with dedicated multi-channel dual audio DSPs. Besides, it is also touted to offer support for multiple peripherals with USB 2.0.
As of now, there is no word from the company as to the pricing and release date of the device.
