The headline marks growing demand of Apple’s latest iPhone 3G S. It is indeed. With great expectation, Apple introduced its iPhone 3G S a week ago. The mobile maker has profoundly announced that it has sold more than one million iPhone 3G S models in the first week of its official launch. The company has also claimed that nearly six million mobile users have downloaded the iPhone 3.0 software during the 1st week of its launch.
The growing demand for the device is mainly thanks to its highly useful features in terms of improved performance, speed and longer battery life.
Excited Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, was quoted to have said, “Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning. With over 50,000 apps available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.”
This iPhone features 3 mp autofocus camera. It operates on iPhone OS 3.0. It provides a user-friendly video recording along with hands free voice control. The iPhone OS 3.0 features MMS, Spotlight Search, landscape keyboard, Cut, Copy, Paste and even more.
The camera of the device is excellent. It ensures recording of hi-fi video clips. It also enables users to edit and share the videos via MobileMe or YouTube using a tab.
The Voice Over option automatically reads the text showing on the screen and the White on Black feature ensures higher contrast by reversing the colors on the screen.
The iPhone 3G S is based on OpenGL ES 2.0 to achieve high quality 3D graphics. It also features 7.2 Mbps HSDPA to ensure quick and smooth networking.
Apart from that, the customers are also given an option to access more than 50 thousand applications from Apple’s App store. The 16GB Apple iPhone 3G S can be purchased for a price of $199. The 32GB model can be obtained for a price of $299.
