Using Macworld Apple has announced the availability of the latest version of the 17-inch MacBook Pro. Boasting of the product, the company says that the latest model makes use of the similar unibody aluminum construction of the 15-inch version plus it is 0.98 inches thick only, which makes it the thinnest 17-inch notebook rolled out ever.
As its reviews, it now moves around a 17-inch, LED-backlit 1920×1200 standard display, which claims to be much more specific than in the prior generation. It promises a 60% enhanced color gamut, a clearer 700:1 contrast ratio and wider 140-degree horizontal in addition to 120-degree vertical viewing angles.
The additional space is utilized to boost performance and provides the system around a 2.93GHz Core 2 Duo plus room for as maximum of 8GB of DDR3 memory. As the features, it comes with dramatically improved battery life, which, Apple claims, is now capable of lasting for around eight hours of wireless use on a single charge and brags a lifecycle of around 1,000 charges, as a result, it is made more energy-efficient as opposed to earlier notebook batteries. The feat is achieved by virtue of a new smart system, which is able to adjust the current to each battery cell on the fly to make the most of the charge.
Besides, it has three USB ports, a single FireWire 800 port, Ethernet, ExpressCard/34 as well as a Mini DisplayPort connector.
You can avail a single stock configuration for $2,799 with a 4GB of memory, 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo, 320GB of hard drive space plus a 512MB GeForce 9600M GT for video. You can also custom-order the system to exchange the hard disk for a new 256GB solid-state drive and to pick and choose a new. The system is expected to be availed from the online Apple Store. So, enjoy!!
