In 2010, in the verge of creativity ASUS exposed their new four interesting notebooks; consisting of multimedia notebook high-end NX90, high-end G73Jh, Eee PC 10008P and U-series in which Bamboo is used. All of them are appealing to the growing demands in the notebook market. ASUS’s latest design portrays a unique and cool exterior which removes smudges fingerprints.
The notebook which is exposed first by ASUS was high-end G73Jh; which has the self possessed design. It is the model of gamers; specially designed for the purpose of gaming. It contains core i5 or i7 processor. The coolest feature of its cutting-edge design is it keeps all the heat produced at the back where the contact of the user is very rare. As compared to other gaming notebooks its heat dissipation feature is authentic.
Eee PC 10008P is one of the models from collection of well-known designer Karim Rashid. It is well styled with a seashell design. Its exterior has crisscross pattern and generates shadow effect which looks fantastic. It contains Intel’s Atom N450 processor which is dual-core. It is also bundled with 1GB of DDR2 and hard disk of 250GB. This Eee PC comes with 10.1” display with the resolution of 1024x600 and provides battery-life of six hours.
The high-end NX90 is a multimedia notebook with the fabulously designed speakers. With the help of producers Bang and Olufsen ASUS has designed the speakers which unfortunately don’t fit into the notebook’s design. The speakers are built in such a way that they extend the width of notebook. The top of model is wider resulting into the heavier notebook; which doesn’t describes portability. Music is the main focus of the design so ASUS may be lacking in this aspect.
U-series consist of environmentally friendly models with the application of Bamboo in the design. Bamboo is natural and renewable material but it doesn’t mean that we can renew the notebooks also. ASUS also demonstrated the Waveface i.e. technology of work-in-progress. This technology helps us to find out the information that we want ant filter that information in order to get the information which is required and which is not. However the pricing of these models is not known yet, what we can expect from ASUS is above average pricing.
