ASUS Eee PC 1018P, 1016P and 1015P

ASUS is a strong competitor in the markets when it comes to laptops and netbooks and they are competitive in price and quality as well. Now ASUS is coming up with something new, which seems pretty exciting. ASUS wanted to bring their new products to CeBIT 2010 but the information on these products has leaked prior to the official announcement. The products are the new Eee PC and model names are The Eee PC 1018P, The Eee PC 1016P and The Eee PC 1015P. As the features, all of these has a 10 inch display and are expected to be running Intel’s latest Pine Trail Atom processors.

As the review, the Eee PC 1015P is the advance version of the already available 1005P with most noticeable change of larger touchpad. The matte display is same as 1005P as well as the chiclet keys but the new version is given the aluminum body and a longer battery life. The Eee PC 1015P can run up to 14 hours on a single charge (with wireless turned off). The Eee PC 1016P is expected to be launched for business purpose. It will have a squared off design, aluminum body and chiclet keys like the Eee PC 1015P and battery life will be same i-e 14hours on a single charge.

Now comes the 1018P and it is going to be the most impressive of the 3. The Eee pc 1018P is just 18mm thick. If this is the case the Eee PC 1018P will be crowned as thinnest netbook from ASUS ever. It will come with an integrated fingerprint scanner, an option for latest USB 3.0 port but the battery life has been compromised here. It will not give the output for 14 hours like the other two on a single charge but for only 10 hours, this is not too bad.

Aluminum chassis is same as the other two. There is no information on the release date or the price or other specifications on all these but ASUS is the name of a trusted brand, whatever they come out with is good. All other information will be revealed in CeBIT 2010. We are yet to see Asus come up with unparalleled technology, but this might just be their year.
