ASUS preps in HD-enabled Eee Box

Asus has announced the availability of HD versions of its Eee Box that was rolled out in June 2008. The latest Eee Box B204 and B206 come built-in with a unique graphics card that sports in a high definition hardware video decoder, greatly enhancing the feature of video and releasing the Eee Box’s processor to handle additional tasks. The Eee Box B204 and B206 have an elite remote control that lets users effortlessly manage, browse and play their media from a distance. The remote control is able to work effortlessly with Eee Cinema, an easy to use, standalone media player that backs up all the rage video, music and photo formats.

As their reviews, the Eee Box B204 & B206, belying their tiny size, come equipped with a gamut of specs. They are claimed to support the newest Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless standard, offering up to eight times faster speeds than the earlier 802.11b/g wireless standard. Besides, the Eee Box B204 sports Bluetooth for hassle-free and quick connectivity to other Bluetooth devices. Both models are also integrated with 10GB of online Eee Storage, letting users make access to their media and documents regardless of their whereabouts. Additionally, they come with a special Easy Mode within Windows allows users to conveniently access commonly-utilized apps.
