Asus unveils uBoom series speakers

Asus has announced the availability of its brand new uBoom series speakers. The latest speakers will entertain you with their surround sound music if you have interest in boom-ing music.Asus’s first multimedia speakers are aimed at providing high fidelity audio and bass with the help of a maze-like reflex port.
The new series speakers come integrated with uBoom and uBoom Q sound-bar speakers, which come featured with USB 2.0 connectivity for audio output. The uBoom series lets you enjoy the experience of videos, movies and games in superior and augmented clarity and bass. The two speakers are 50 percent tinier than usual 2.1 speaker set-ups. Being too handy and compact, you can easily and effortlessly connect these speakers at the rear end of the notebook with the help of USB 2.0.
Besides, both the speakers can successfully replace the onboard sound with a high fidelity codec and provides an augmented audio experience. The uBoom Q is powered the USB 2.0 port, and in this way gets rid of the requirement of wires, cables and a power adapter. Users can also make use of the uBoom in the form of a notebook dock. Here it claims to provide more airflow, gives rise to effectual heat dispersion. Its full aluminum body also help get rid of unnecessary overtones.
The uBoom comes with the measurement of around 595mm x 135mm x 90mm and has got the weight of up to 3kg, whereas the uBoom Q is too light as it has only 400g weight and 290mm x 110mm x 72mm dimensions. As the reviws, the uBoom also comes incorporated with a microphone jack connector and one USB, AUX-in. But the uBoom Q doesn’t come with the microphone jack.
The uBoom also boasts of providing 4 ohms of speaker impedance whereas the uBoom Q claims to offer 5 ohms. The complete RMS of uBoom Q and uBoom are 2.4Watts and 24 Watts.
As to the pricing and the availability, there is no word from the company up till now. As and when it comes we will let you know.
