CES 2009 in Las Vegas has seen a lot of best-of-the-breed and state-of-the-art laptops, comprising the latest multimedia laptop ‘Asus W90?. Combining performance and style, the newest W90 comes featured with 18.4” widescreen display with a 16:9 golden aspect ratio high definition mega bright LCD display. The display is driven by the dual graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 X2, which claims to provide supreme 3D performance.

The W90 also comes with a standalone NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GS GPU, and the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The system is founded on the Intel X38 chipset and brags 3 SO-DIMM slots for around 6GB of DDR2 memory. Asustek’s high performance notebook is furthermore comes integrated with the Turbo Gear function, which enables users to overclock the machine by around 25 per cent.

Further attributes comprise around 1 terabyte of hard drive storage space making use of 2 HDDs, 1 DVD burner or Blu-ray optical drive, 6 integrated Altec Lansing surround sound speakers, an optional TV tuner, the AI Touch Media – a multimedia control panel positioned at the side of the keyboard, 802.11 Draft N wireless, a 2-megapixel web camera, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, as well as a 56k modem.
