AT&T offers HTC Tilt 2 and Pure Windows Mobile 6.5 phones

After months-long waiting, AT&T has finally announced an official introduction of the long-rumored versions of the Touch Diamond2 and Touch Pro2. Flaunting the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, these smartphones are christened as the HTC Pure and the Tilt2.
First to talk of is the latest HTC Pure, which, with its in-built 3.2-inch WVGA display, touts to offer full touchscreen experience. Optimized for one-hand use, the Pure boasts of providing a TouchFLO 3D experience. The Pure is also claimed to get perfectly fitted in the palm of your hand. On the feature front, it comes with 5mp auto-focus camera with video capture, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, and memory that can be expanded. All these features help augment the appeal of this handset.
Talking about the products, Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, was quoted to have said that AT&T leads in the world of Windows Mobile and smartphones. AT&T is preferred most by the smartphone users and the HTC Pure and HTC Tilt 2 are going to lead world of Windows phone into 2010.
Next to discuss is a touchscreen handset called the HTC Tilt 2. This handset is claimed to be built-in with a full slide-out QWERTY keypad. As the reviews, it boasts of a 3.6-inch WVGA display, which has been optimized for heavy e-mail use. The handset comes featured with HTC’s Straight Talk technology which helps augment and simplify the conference calling, dual speakers, dual speakers and dual microphones with sophisticated noise cancellation. All these features help augment the style measure of this handset
The HTC Pure, at present, can be available at AT&T’s retail outlets and online store with the price tag of around $149 (approx. Rs. 7,089). While the Tilt 2 is expected to be made available in the coming weeks with the price tag of around $299 (approx. Rs. 14,227). Both the handsets have grabbed the attention of mobile users as soon as they have been launched. But what exactly has to be seen here is if they will make a mark like others. Let’s wait and watch!
