BlackBerry Magnum to sport Full QWERTY Keyboard and Touchscreen

The BlackBerry Magnum is a Storm meets Bold kind of phone, although hasn’t officially been announced so far, but the device will mesmerize all the BlackBerry loyalists with its glaring specs and avant-garde technology.

Touted to be one of the first creations of RIM, the latest BlackBerry Magnum Hybrid will come featured with both a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display.

The easy-to-play and feature-crammed QWERTY keyboard in BlackBerry is what allures the mobile buffs. The keyboard was replaced when the Storm 2 & Storm were introduced as touchscreen handsets rather than virtual QWERTY. Looked good initially, but both the handsets couldn’t stand before the iPhone as was being expected.

Smartphones, such as; the Curve or the Bold series are acclaimed more than the Storm so, for sure, RIM won’t throw the QWERTY keyboard for good anytime soon. So I am still wondering why in place of making the Storm in the first place not bring about something similar to the Magnum? It would be combined with the utility of a full keyboard counting the touchscreen interface, which could get you quicker via the menus.

Sure as shooting, the Magnum isn’t an iPhone killer any way, is it? But, should true rival of iPhone be all touch and no QWERTY? The Palm Pre comes included with a keyboard and so has been done by the Droid, and additional Android-based mobile phones for that matter. They all compete with iPhone, don’t they?

Well, the Magnum is already in news and hopefully it could be espied at MWC 2010. For now, there isn’t much to talk as far as its specs sheet is concerned, yet, it can be imagined easily that a BlackBerry Curve 8900 or Bold 9700 are built-in with a touchscreen.

Just remove the trackpad and something similar to the Magnum is here to serve you. Yes, there is no word when the new baby will be released.
