The most attractive thing about BlueAnt V1 headset is the integrated voice control offered by it. Any other Bluetooth headset present in the market offers the integrated voice control like BlueAnt V1. The voice control feature of BlueAnt is managed by its interface named BlueGenie, which is developed by a company called Sensory. This integrated technology allows the headset to over ride the voice commands of your cell phone. It is obvious that to use this technology, your cell phone must support the voice dialing.

The advantage of BlueAnt V1 becomes evident when the headset is set up for the first time. The headset’s voice helps you pair the device with the phone after it is fully charged. This step by step process is quite helpful for those who use the Bluetooth headset for the first time. Moreover, you can easily switch off the voice control feature once you are through the process. The headset is pretty easy to use and no voice training is required to use them. But the BlueAnt V1 has limited number of voice commands and you cannot request anything beyond them. Although the commands are limited, the headset easily picks up all those commands that are stored in its database.

The headset is available in two versions-one with the earhook and the other one that fits the ear. The earhook version is a little uncomfortable to wear and the hook less version does not fit the ear easily as it changes its positions you move your head around.

The top of the headset features the call button which gives you good feel when touched. The call button is easily accessible and gives a feedback when you press it. If you are using the headset in the noisy environment, then tapping the call button voice activates the Max voice-isolation setting. The voice isolation feature reduces the noise significantly and allows you to keep talking comfortably.

The call quality provided by BlueAnt V1 is pretty decent with crisp and clear sound. But the sentences might break occasionally and voice becomes a bit tinny.
