BMW and Garmin together launch BMW Navigator IV for motorcycle riders

GarminBMWNavigatorIV BMW and Garmin have together come up with the rollout of the BMW Navigator IV for motorcycle riders. The BMW Navigator IV won’t let the bikers now struggle with doubts and problem that they face while traveling anywhere with the long routes.

The BMW Navigator IV boasts of distinctive attributes, for example; a customized mount for motorcycles, vibration and watertight (IEC 529 IPx-7 standards), Bluetooth features and revised audio.

Featuring a novel slim design, the new device also comes built-in with a 4.3 touchscreen display. Its A2DP Bluetooth connectivity offer remote listening to digital audio alongside hands free calling from Bluetooth-based cell phones. It also claims to offer turn-by-turn directions and lane assist attributes in conjunction with junction view and lane guidance with a view to making long routes traveling trouble-free for users.

Besides, the device features a user-friendly map display with a large-key multiple-page keyboard, which helps provide easy typing with gloves. The large glove-friendly zoom keys help the map be easily readable.

Its lane assist features provide riders with enough guidance as well as keep advising of the further coming multiple lanes. Users can also view the overhead signs with ease. The Navigator IV also informs about the fuel usage and the remaining distance.

Its custom routes menu allows riders look for the options like the fastest route, shortest route or an off-road route and thus taking minimum time.

As the reviews, you can also plan your on or off bikes trips by just completing trip planning functions from your computer. All this is made possible through the MapSource DVD of BMW Navigator IV. You can also transfer and save the TrackLogs as routes.

The device can now be availed at U.S.-based BMW Motorcycle dealers for just $900.17 along with a BMW four-button mount cradle, a carrying case, a head unit, AC chargers, mount cover, USB cable and MapSource DVD. The device offers Bluetooth GPS with a 3-year warranty and a user guide.
