Bose intros SoundLink wireless music system

bosesoundlinkIf you love listening to music more, but have to sit beside the computer, then have a sigh of relief now, as Bose has rolled out a new wireless music system, which is known as the SoundLink wireless music system. The new music system is a one-piece portable speaker system, which comes clad in glossy black. You can use this system if you want to enjoy the experience of music wirelessly in and around the home from your PC.

The system needs no Wi-Fi connection or software and comes in an easy setup. As the features, the wireless music system allows you to opt music from Pandora, iTunes, or from other source of music by just getting plugged into the built-in SoundLink USB key to the PC. Through a long series wireless link, functioning through most floors and walls, the audio streams to the system with ease.

As the reviews, this Bose SoundLink wireless music system is also built-in with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that claims to offer additional flexibility to the system. Users, exclusive of an outlet, can power the system with its AC power supply. If you play it at high volume or, the battery boasts of powering it up to 3 hrs.

Whether functioning on battery power or plugged-in, you will get an equal quality audio performance, which the company’s manufacturing competence provides in speaker and electronics design. In order to give high-class, room-filling audio from an extremely tiny area, the system boasts of providing a proprietary acoustics package. It is built-in with an exclusive neodymium transducers and waveguide speaker technology.

The system’s infrared remote control allows you to skip, play and pause the tracks from a distance. Apart from controlling the volume and power, its remote control also boasts of sending transport control commands to the majority of apps.

The unit also comes integrated with touch-sensitive volume buttons. Links to extra audio sources such as; iPhone, iPod, CD player or MP3 player are allowed with the auxiliary input of the systems.

The new SoundLink wireless music system is slated to hit the stores in August 27, 2009 for the price of around $549.95.

We purchased the Bose soundlink almost immediately after its release this summer. After doing some research in possible solutions, Soundlink came out on top.

+ quality of sound, do keep in mind it's a single speaker so do not expect a high end theater solution
+ does stream all audio streams (audio and video)
    + range
    + portable
+ also streams music and video from Itunes, event rented our movies you buy

    - Remote control range

We have been using it now for 2 weeks almost 24x7 when we are home and would recommended this to anyone who is searching for a solution to listen to audio wireless.
