Buffalo intros Terastation III series NAS solutions for channel partners


buffaloterastationiiiIntroducing their latest offering to their channel partners and to familiarize them with the technicalities, Buffalo has announced the release of their Terastation III (TS X-/L series) Network Attached Storage (NAS) solution series, which is based on RAID and is packed with a variety of glaring attributes.

Features such as the share level replication, support for Active Directory, port trunking, DFS and disk quota and hardware attributes like dual Ethernet ports and hot swap. The Terastation III NAS solutions to be availed in 4TB, 2TB, 6TB and 8TB capacities are apt for businessmen and the users who are looking for utmost reliability with superb features.

The TS X-/L series NAS solutions also boast of delivering better reliable, CPU speed, and wonderful performance, oversized cooling system and heavy-duty power supply. It is also integrated with BitTorrent Client, DLNA media server and print server. Besides, it is featured with intuitive web interface, 5 operational modes and LCD status display.

As the reviews, these NAS solutions also allow web access. That is why; you can access it anywhere via the PC, Mac and iPhone. Its Hot Spare & Mirroring mechanism boasts of unswerving operation whereas the Realtime back-up replication function allows keeping one spare mirrored unit. It gives support to Apple Time Machine attribute, thus allowing support of multiple Mac PCs.

Since it gives support to NFS, so you can easily access to the hard drives. In addition, this Buffalo NAS solution boasts of Quota Management attribute, which gives apt disk space for exact content whereas the PC Interlocking Power Management System allows trouble–free power saving. Besides, the Schedule Power Management System has the capacity of saving around 66% power, automatically turning the PC off/on and lessening release of CO2.

The company did not say any word about the pricing and availability of the Buffalo Terastation III NAS solutions.
