Canon unveils WUX10 Mark II and SX80 Mark II multimedia LCoS projectors

If you are into the field of art, education or photography, then here comes a new offering from Canon U.S.A. The company has come up with a new Photo Image Mode augmented WUX10 Mark II and SX80 Mark II projectors.
The new additions to the line of REALiS multimedia LCoS projectors are claimed to give sophisticated solutions of color management and augmentation for compliance to various lighting conditions. The option of color management is claimed to be of high use in fine-tuning the temperature and intensity of colors with essential presets. The Ambient Light property is easy to tweak to fine-tune lighting in fluorescent, tungsten or fluorescent H illumination and is claimed to provide low, high or medium level intensities.
Yuichi Ishizuka, senior Vice President and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A, was quoted to have said that the projectors, today, are in highly-demanded in the fields of photography and education. The incorporation of the Photo Image Mode has brought about suppleness to adjust the projected images so that they could know how they were captured at the initial stage.
The WUX10 comes with the resolution capacity of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, plus, it brags of 3200 lumens of brightness and 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio. This projector also has the capacity of displaying widescreen content of 1080p full HD. The SX80 comes with a resolution of SXGA 1400 x 1050, and at the same time, it boasts of up to 3000 lumens of brightness, HDMI plus DVI A/V I/O and PictBridge connectivity.
The two models come built-in with LCoS technology, which is powered by the Canon’s AISYS Optical Engine for higher contrast, better brightness and grid-free images. Both the projectors also features 10:0 lens offset, Genuine Canon 1.5 x powered zoom/focus lens and RJ-45 Network Port, which boasts of network interface for centralized control of single or multiple units.
The WUX10 and SX80 come with their respective price tag of around $12,999 (approx. Rs.6,07,170) and $3,999 (approx. Rs.1,86,789). They are also supported by a three-year warranty and Triple P service program.
