The Smart Proxy editing feature of VideoStudio allows you to create a lower-resolution version of HD video and allows you to edit, apply effects, create menus. The filter and effects and dialog boxes have been enlarged to make them easily accessible. You can also adjust the size of thumbnails. There are some features that the users will like in the VisualStudio X2, such as when one clip is dropped on the top of another, VideoStudio automatically inserts the default transition, and users can set the length of transition.

In the end, VisualStudio X2 offers better range of features than Adobe elements and tools are easier to see than Elements’. But Elements has some unique features that are better than VideoStudio’s such as timeline features. The VideoStudio is better for those who have underpowered PC but those with fastest PC should go for Elements.
