Corsair intros P128 and P64 SSDs


corsair-p128-p64Revamping its Performance series SSDs, Corsair has announced the addition of two latest high performance solid state drives. Known as P128 & P64, both these models follow the success story of the P256 SSD, and boasts of providing similar write/ read speeds at cost-effective price.

As the features, the P128 has the capacity of providing a write speed of 200Mbps and a read speed of 220Mbps. Whereas talking about the P64, the company says, it is the most excellent, low density SSD to be availed in the market, as it comes with the capacity of a write speed of 120Mbps and a read speed of 220Mbps.

Jim Carlton, VP of Marketing for Corsair, was quoted to have said that high performance of the latest Performance Series solid-state drives, integrated with the inbuilt stability and reliability of flash technology, prove them perfect for the two latest system upgrades and builds of notebooks and desktops. These drives are also broadly validated in a wide series of all the rage notebook computers, meaning that you are able to provide upgrading with total confidence.

Besides integrating the avant-garde technology of the P256, these drives also come built-in with Samsung controller IC with NCQ support and128MB of cache memory. These technologies boast of offering enhanced and shutter free performance.

If you really like the devices, Corsair P128 can be availed through Corsair’s authorized resellers and distributors all over the globe whereas the P64 is slated to be shipped in the month of July. As the reviews, the P128 will be offered wit a 2-year limited warranty. For purchasing it, you will have to pay $339 (approx. Rs.16,285) after a $40 mail-in rebate.

However, the company has not revealed any pricing detail as to the P64, as and when it comes we will let you know.
