Cowon uncloaks V5 HD portable media player

A new standard for hi-def HD PMP is all set to make its debut in the market of portable media player. Christened as the Cowon V5 HD, the latest Cowon player comes included a 4.8 inches color hi-resolution 800 x 480 touchscreen LCD display and H.264 HD video playback capabilities.
Weighing just 197 grams, the new player is also said to come with the capacity of playing hi-def video in 720p straight on the HDTV of the users, thanks to the incorporated HDMI port. Besides, the users are also allowed to select from different storage capacities, which range from 8GB to 32GB. The new contraption, with 15.7mm thick slim body, is entirely fashionable and practical ergonomic in appearance.
The device also boasts of a user-friendly interface and offers compatibility for a range of other apps and devices. Utilizing Cowon’s Jet effects, the device also boast of enhancing different multimedia codec support and music. Additionally, the V5 HD device also touts to support T-DMB, calculator, RSS, world clock, notepad, flash games, voice recorder, e-dictionary and digital frame mode. The device is also alleged to offer support for a gamut of mobile games from SKT.
As the reviews, the Cowon PMP is available to espy in three varieties i.e. a normal, a DMB and last but not the least one with e-dictionary. Drenched in four special colors, such as; white, black, silver and silver, the Cowon V5 HD can be availed with the introductory price of around 299,000. The device is slated to knock the market on January 1, 2010.
The PMP market is booming day by day. Their launch has given the companies an edge; that is why; they have now started coming with the feature-packed and functional PMP. Since they have in view, the music fiends are found more inclined to them. Let’s hope it does what it boasts of or will prostrate in the market.
