Cybernet iOne GX31 reviews – a brilliant business centered touch-screen desktop PC

cybernetionegx31The Cybernet iOne-GX31, priced at $2,358, is a quad-core-powered all-in-one PC. It comes with a touch screen that works effectively for Web navigation and for official purposes like cash register terminals and data gathering. The device is extremely well built and is fast enough for business usage. The all-in-one form factor is particularly suited for tight office cubicles and shared workspaces. Cybernet has targeted markets like government offices and hospitals as bases for its iOne’s compact and rugged design. The iOne is made into a 19-inch LCD monitor. It boasts of an optional touch screen that uses a simple mouse-click interface. The touch interface will let you get through forms at a very fast speed. Without the keyboard or mouse, the iOne can act as a main interface for an ordering system or an ATM.

The iOne houses an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 processor that is supported by 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM. As far as storage options are concerned, it sports a 250GB hard drive. The graphics on the device are supported by the Intel GMA3100 graphics chipset. The integrated graphics make the device compact. As this device is business oriented, it can not run high-end 3D games and other programs. The device houses an HDMI-out port and comes with a DVD burner. The system is fitting for a Vista Business PC. The device lacks any kind of antivirus or security programs preinstalled on it. The system boasts of Wi-Fi.

As the features, the iOne’s quad-core processor makes it a decent multimedia and business performer. The device is fast enough to take care of moderate photo and video editing. Many of you will feel that the Intel GMA3100 graphics chipset is not up to the mark as far as graphics performance is concerned. The device also houses an analog TV tuner. Overall, the Cybernet iOne-GX31 is a decent business product and fulfills its promise of being a business-centered touch-screen desktop PC.

Don't even think of using Cybernet products if you wish to use Linux. They have NO drivers and are not supportive.
