The system features a slim chassis and offers specifications that are offered by Inspiron I530S-114B. But the 119B speeds up the things with faster processor and provides more storage space at the same price. But there are other manufacturers which provide better features and more storage capacity at the same price. However, the Dell compensates these with its quick multitasking capabilities.

The Dell Inspiron I530-119B features a slim and space-saving chassis which is offered by its predecessor. The system measures 14.2 inches high, 3.9 inches wide and 17.1 inches deep and is designed in silver and white.

Looking at the price and other features, the nearest competitor of the system is Acer’s Aspire X1700-U3700A. The Dell is powered by 2.5GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 whereas the Acer runs on 2.4GHz Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2220 and is priced $20 less than Dell. Both the systems are equipped with dual-layer DVD burner and come pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) operating system. For the networking, both the system offers 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN port.

Both the system offers similar feature set but the Dell beats its competitors when it comes to performance. Due to the high speed processor and the RAM combined with 64-bit Windows Vista, the Dell Inspiron excels when tested across all the standard benchmarks. Most users look at the overall feature set in the budget systems. The Dell offers nice feature set which combined with its decent performance makes it a complete package that most users will appreciate.
