Dulin’s Books unfurls Boox 60 e-reader

The digital readers are the most desirable devices today, not only owing to their capacity and comfortability, but they also augment the reading experience. Although the market is already swarming with a variety of e-readers, the latest digital reader from Dulin’s Books has got something unique to allure you. Named as the Boox 60 by Onyx International, the e-reader, the company says, is featured with a 6 inch VizplexTM e-ink display, 532MHz processor and around 16 colors of gray.
The Boox 60 e-reader is also packed with 512MB of memory that can be expanded with SDHC/SD cards for additional 32GB. The e-reader also comes included with a 1600mAh battery, which is replaceable and offers over 8000 page turns.
The new product from Onyx is capable of supporting various reading formats like EPUB and PDF, HTML, PDB, MOBI, CHM and TXT. It can also support image formats such as BMP, GIF, JPG, TIFF and PNG. It also boasts of MP3 which lets users listen to all their favorite music as well as audio books and Text To Speech capability. Through Adobe Digital Editions, the device can support DRM EPUB and PDF.
Besides, the Advanced PDF support allows users reflow and zoom, which the integrated stylus allows them to opt for some images and sections on the PDF. Boox also boasts of offering support for internal Hyperlinks and Table of Contents. The embedded Wacom touch technology in the e-reader helps users utilize the stylus to sketch doodles and note down notes, underline text, select zooming areas and lots more. Plus, if you cannot live without surfing the internet, no need to worry as the device also comes integrated with a Webkit browser and WiFi.
The company is offering the Boox 60 alongside a white leather cover and Wall charger, quick start guide and USB 2.0 cable. The Onyx International product comes with the price tag of around $349, which is about Rs.16,266, according to Indian currency.
