Energy Sistem unloads TV2090 PMP

Portable media player market is really in great form currently with many interesting products showcased at CES 2010 and most of them are expected to be launched very soon. Energy Sistem recently unveiled its latest PMP device which is a mini-tablet like device with a stand on backside for keeping it inclined. The PMP looks fairly good with large wide screen display on right side and a sleek control bar on left side.

The PMP is not expected to provide extreme multimedia performance as a full-scale media system, but would perform quite well with built-in stereo speaker and support for many popular multimedia standards. The PMP device is also equipped with AV output which can let users connect it to external screen for better video experience. Most popular audio and video formats such as MP3, WAV and DivX, AVI and MPG compression methods are compatible with the new PMP device.

You can enjoy high quality movies on Energy Sistem TV2090 with its sleek and elegant 9-inch screen. With a few ports available on its left side, the product looks bulky with dimensions of 265×32x155 mm. While most other PMP devices have far better dimensions and Touchscreen support, Energy Sistem T2090 is something that doesn’t have either of them. But, a few other key features like teletext and subtitle support and timeshift functions are included to improve users’ multimedia experience.

Watching your favorite TV shows or movies just got better with timeshift functions letting you pause and resume video at any time you like. You can also play your favorite multimedia content using provided USB port and card SD Card reader.

The product is shipped with a few extra goodies such as car mounting kit and external antenna for better reception. Multi-language supporting on-screen menu can be operated using basic controls that are present on the left side of screen. Rechargeable battery provided with Energy Sistem T2090 is expected to support fairly long playback. Even with a pretty decent feature set, Energy Sistem TV2090 would have to fight for survival in current market where many other PMP devices have already settled. Price tag for the device is not yet announced by Energy Sistem.
