Epson adds tethering feature to multimedia photo viewers

Known for its printers, Epson is now coming up with new line of products including P-6000 and P-7000, multimedia photo viewers targeting photographers. The all new photo viewer feature will enable photographers to instantly view and save images, as they will click. They can also streamline the process of creating backup files and assess the images wherever they want either in studio or on location.

Photographers can use photo viewers in tethered mode, they can use via USB cable. With the help of USB cable they can connect their DSLR camera with the photo-viewers and also automatically save their images to the viewers as well as in the internal memory of the card. The backup copy of the image will be saved to the viewer’s hard-drive.

The tethering feature will also allow photographers to preview images instantly on high-resolution of the viewer. Enabled with 4-inch color-accurate LCD feature, photo viewers allow photographers to fine-tune the location itself. There is also another addition of the firmware by Epson. This helps the photographers release the shutter function remotely and conveniently.
