Fujinon wraps off new PL mount zoom lens

FujinonPLZoomExtending its portfolio of PL mount zoom lenses, Fujinon has announced the availability of its latest 75-400mm. (Model number HK5.3×75), the 75-400mm T2.8-T3.9 PL mount zoom lens was put on display in Japan on November 18.

Being the 2nd lens of the series, the 75-400mm is claimed to offer a remarkable telephoto focal range, fast T-stops and supreme optical performance. The first lens HK4.7×18F was showcased at NAB 2009.

(Model Number HK4.7×18F), the Fujinon 18-85mm T2.0 cannot only be purchased now, but it is also available to rent from the leading Rental House Facilities. The PL Series of Fujinon comes inclusive of four lens models, like; 75-400 mm T2.8-T3.9 and 18-85mm T2.0, which can, at present, be availed, while the 24-180mm T2.6 is expected to be made available from January 2010 and the 14.5-45mm T2.0 is slated to be introduced in April 2010.

Hank Hayashi, President & CEO, Fujinon, Inc, was quoted to have said that the latest series has brought in favorable feedback from Directors of Photography, Rental House Facilities, Assistants and Camera Operators. The obtained suggestions have made it possible for Fujinon to come up with enhanced and augmented lenses.

The latest PL zoom lenses of Fujinon claims to offer augmented focal ranges and speeds. Users, with these lenses, can boost performance on both digital and film cinematography cameras.
