Fujitsu-LifeBook-T4410When it comes to tablet PCs Fujitsu is undeniably a front runner. Despite of being late comers in the multi touch screen game Fujitsu’s latest LifeBook T4410 may make the difference. Incorporated with the latest Windows 7 operating system the T4410 provides an astounding experience when it comes to performance. The design however did not jump the hurdle; the shabby design is also followed by its lack of low storage facilities.

The T4410 also promises a rigid build quality and many new features which may seem viable. The notebook is basically aimed for business users and provides competent and decent performance coupled together with handy features. A strong latch has been integrated to ensure that the lid remains secure in its place. Functions such as the fingerprint reader and the ability of the screen to move beyond its axis make the T4410 very exciting.

The keyboard is comfortable to type on and the touch pad seems a tad bit large at 1.5 x 2.6 inches. The touch screen display at 12.1 inch portrays a resolution of 1280 x 800; in spite of this the screen is a bit dull but nothing to criticize about. The multi touch functionality is highly responsive with options of pinching, zooming and rotating files all available and working.

The tablet houses a pen stylus and advanced handwriting recognition software from Windows 7 furthermore adding to the experience. The flow of movement is smooth and has no problems in distinguishing between upper and lower cases. The T4410 includes three USB ports, FireWire, headphones and microphone ports, HDMI and VGA output, an Ethernet jack and a docking connector as well. The 2 in 1 memory card reader isn’t that impressive however it’s very practical.

The intuitive web cam at 2 megapixels provides average photos and video conferencing. The battery is a six cell impressive work of technology providing long hours of performance. Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100 is provided and a Bluetooth 2.1 as well. When it comes to performance the T4410 can be configured accordingly. Versions range from $1199 for an average model to a high end $1649 model.

The T4410 can be upgraded to a 2.53 GHz processor and a 320GB hard drive. Overall the Fujitsu T4410 is inexpensive in comparison to other multi touch tablets available today. A simple design, extra battery life and a genuine build quality makes the T4410 a valid option.
