Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO GraphicBooster + SA 3650 notebook = power

Fujitsu has announced its latest ultra portable 13.3-inch AMILO notebook SA 3650 with AMILO GraphicBooster. Measuring 18 x 13 x 3.35cm and weighing0.5kg, the AMILO Notebook Sa 3650 is an external ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 graphics card with 512MB memory and boasts of providing 470 % increased graphics performance. Besides, it also comes built-in with DVI-I and HDMI outputs, as well as two USB 2.0 connections.
Ian McNaughton, Senior Marketing Manager, AMD, was quoted as saying: “Powered by ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870, the GraphicBooster redefines what mobile graphics is all about, allowing users to choose notebooks with slim, lightweight designs, yet enjoying the superior performance of a traditional desktop gaming rig wherever it’s convenient, with outstanding mobility and battery life. ”
More to the point, the 2.4 kg AMILO SA 3650 notebook has 13.3 -inch WXGA display with BilliantView technology, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, AMD next-generation dual-core mobile processor technology, 7.1 high-definition audio via S/PDIF, 250 or 320 GB hard disk capacity, up to 4 GB memory, built-in Logitech QuickCam, draft-n WLAN, SATA SuperMulti-format DVD burner, LAN (10/100/1000), DVI-I, eSATA, IEEE1394 (FireWire), USB 2.0, ExpressCard, S/PDIF, 15-in-1 card reader, 1x external graphic box port (PCI Express 2.0 8x) and Bluetooth 2.1. It also comes integrated with a spill-proof keyboard.
The Fujitsu AMILO SA 3650 notebook and GraphicBooster is expected to be made available in December 2008. There is no word on the pricing.
