Gateway notebook

Gateway is not a name to be heard often in the laptop market. The company has surely the need to step things up. The notebook market is growing in competition and gateway certainly has its task cut out. It’s a basic notebook though with nothing to brat about. The notebook has a 10.1 inch screen which doesn’t help either. The atom processor with a 1.66 GHz frequency is also disappointing news.

The maximum screen resolution it can support is 1200*600 which is pretty ordinary. The good news is the battery life is 10 hrs so u doesn’t have any charging issues here. When the market has accepted 1 Tb hard disk Gateway has only 250 GB hard disk and a 1 GB ram. The notebook has Intel GMA 3150 graphics and Wi-Fi nothing new to mention. Although to ensure that you get 10 hrs backup 5,600mAh batteries is needed.

The notebook has all the basic features a regular notebook has. It includes 3 USB reader ports, Ethernet and memory card reader. The better part is the notebook has multitouch touchpad speakers. Impressively it has a built in digital microphone with the webcam. It has certain good points like the wireless connectivity is long range for better connectivity. The Intel and keyboard design improves the overall usability of the notebook.

The normal model of the notebook although provides you with an 8 hrs backup. A few extra bucks for a better battery and you get more backup time. They are user friendly and very productive. The customer has given it thumbs up in the ease of use. When it comes to mobile computing Gateway has certainly redefined things. The LED also aims at saving power. The keyboard are larger making typing for users simpler.

The sleek design makes it easier to carry. The graphics card supports directx 9 makes the visuals livelier. The built in microphone also has great voice quality. The touchpad makes navigation much more easier. The LT21 releases later in January and will be priced at 299.99$. It certainly is made for daily and mobile users. There is nothing much to wow about this but certainly it delivers. If you stay outdoors and need longer backup from your notebook LT21 is for you.
