Hitachi has landed in Japanese market with the release its five band new HDTV models. The P-XP035 series of plasma TVs are known as 42-, 46- and 50-inch models. All these models come featured with a 500GB digital video recorder. The HDTV models also give support to a DLNA network multimedia playback.
The USP (unique selling point) of this series is the included iDVR slot, which helps users connect external hard drives to these HDTVs. This further extends the storage capacity of these devices.
As the reviews, the L-XP35 series LCDs can be called the twin brother of the P-XP035 as on the features front, both are similar and have ditto features. But if we talk about their size, they are not equal. These devices are tinier than the P-XP035 series TVs. In addition, they also come built-in with the support for DLNA network multimedia playback, 500GB digital video recorder, and integrated iDVR slot.
The P-XP035 series plasma TVs is expected to be rolled out in September with the price tag of around $3,000 and $4,100. On the other hand, the L-XP35 series LCDs is slated to be shipped in October with the price tag of around $2,550 and $3,080.
All these TVs first of all will be rolled out in Japan. As to its release out of Japan, there isn’t any word from the company so far, but Hitachi is hoped not to limit the availability of these HDTVs to Japan only.
Hitachi is normally found to limit or constrain its products release to its territory, that is Japan. Up till now, a number of products launched by the company, are first of all made available in its territory and then they are brought ahead to be rolled out in other states.
Though Japan is a advanced country and has made its marks in the technological field, it is the right of all and sundry to enjoy the experience of latest and greatest products.
