The CES 2009 saw hundreds of amazing products unveiled by many manufacturers. Some of the products were weird and some left people agape. Here are some of the best products that were unveiled at CES 2009:
PALM PRE
The hottest product of CES 2009, the Palm Pre runs on a new OS which gathers contact information from different sources. It enables you to connect with other people in many ways which include IM, text, e-mail, phone, Facebook, and lot more. The handset sports large multi-touch screen, runs on powerful processor and offers plenty of advanced features like accelerometer, QWERTY keyboard, GPS, Wi-Fi, and 3.2 MP camera. There is not doubt that Pre is the most advanced and innovative smartphone after the iPhone.
SONY LIFESTYLE PC
The ultralight, weighing 1.4 pounds, notebook sports 87% keyboard and 8-inch LED screen with amazing resolution of 1,600 x 768 pixels. The $899 laptop provides excellent battery life though the processor is not the most powerful one.
SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-G3
The $499 Sony Cyber Shot DSC-G3 is the first Wi-Fi camera which comes with a Web browser. This will enable the users to connect to multiple Wi-Fi networks. The camera is also capable of streaming the images and videos to various sites via Wi-Fi.
VIZIO VBR100
The VIZIO VBR100 is the cheapest Blu-ray disc player in the market. It will hit the markets in April and will be priced under $1500.The player houses an Ethernet port and provides 1GB space for storage. The player is also capable of BD-Live streaming.
DISH NETWORKS ViP 922
This HD digital camcorder is equipped with Slingbox technology. The Dish Networks susbscribers can watch the recorded programs from any location on their laptop or mobile phone with a broadband connection.
SAMSUNG P3
The Samsung P3 is an updated version of Samsung’s portable media player, P2. The player sports a 3-inch TFT LCD which provides feedback when pressed. The display offers 6:9 aspect ratio and shows videos at 30 fps. The P3 comes in three versions- 8, 16, and 32GB.

PANASONIC DMP-B15
The world’s first portable Blu-ray player sports an 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD and includes a rechargeable battery. The player can also be connected via HDMI to an HDTV to watch Blu-ray movies on your TV.
POWERMAT
The charger is capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously from single power source. You just need t o connect the devices in the included receivers and place them on the PowerMat’s thin mat. All the devices are charged through the magnetic induction.
