The older HP Mini 110 is definitely a great netbook, which had very attractive looks, all the necessary internal components, all the standard ports and expansion options for affordable price. After the launch of Mini 110, other manufacturers started offering similar features for lot less money.
The HP has revamped its Mini 110 to launch Mini 110-113dx Tord Boontje Edition. The Dutch designer Tord Boontje has given looks to the Mini 110. Rest of the features on the new model remains same that of the older Mini 110 and the new model is priced $50 higher. The older model was designed in white and Tord Boontje has added white floral print over semi-transparent layers and this design provides a little 3D effect.
As the reviews, the netbook has same dimensions as it is 10.3 inches wide, 6.6 inches deep, 1.2 inches high and weighs just 2.6 pounds. The netbooks is priced at $399 and comes with internal components that can be found on any other netbook. It is powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and comes equipped with 1GB of 533MHz DDR2 memory, 160GB 5,400rpm hard drive, Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset and integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics card. Instead of using Windows XP, the new edition comes with Windows 7 Starter operating system.

Like its older sibling, the Mini 110-1131dx is equipped with a great keyboard. Its flat keys provide excellent typing experience. On the contrary, the touch pad is very disappointing as it is wider as compared to its length. The mouse buttons are located on the side instead of bottom of the touch pad. The scrolling is quite difficult on such short touch pad.

While the latest netbooks offer resolution as high as 1280×768, the Mini 110 has a 10.1-inch wide-screen display, which has resolution of 1,024×576. IT is even lower than the standard 10-inch display resolution of 1,024×600.

The set of ports and connectors is pretty standard with the exception of Combo headphone/mic jack in place of separate headphone/microphone jacks. It means you cannot record and monitor audio at the same time. A VGA-out port, three USB 2.0, SD card reader, Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth sums up the real estate that you get.
