Verizon introduced the HTC Imagio which was the first smart phone to incorporate the Windows Mobile 6.5. Once again another HTC phone stands up in the crowd with its TouchFlo interface, Wi-Fi and high quality TV broadcasting abilities. This phone caters to both business and casual owners. It is integrated with various new technologies and the features are endless. The touch screen can be cumbersome and it takes time to fully understand the complexity of the device.
The design and finish is authentic and measures at 4.7 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches and weighs at a mere 5.3 ounces. The 3.6 inch vibrant touch screen provides an 800 x 480 resolution display. The build quality is promised to be robust which in turn compromises on the looks. The 3.5mm headphone jack can be useful when using your own personal headphones. The Windows Mobiles 6.5 provides an exciting and new environment to browse on.
The touch screen on the HTC Imagio also incorporates a QWERTY keyboard and fortunately works in portrait as well as landscape modes. The screen provides an exhilarating prospect and adventure during web browsing and emailing. Microsoft Exchange is well supported to carter for full email, calendar and other synchronizations. The Microsoft Office mobile version can enable you to work on Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The ability to read and display PDF files has also been included by adding Adobe Reader.
The HTC Imagio comes preloaded with the new VCAST music, FLOTV and VCAST videos; this provides thrilling realms to the world of multimedia. The GPS navigation system with VZ Navigator provides an extra advantage to the Imagio and the Navigator is completely voice guided to cater to your needs. The inclusion of a powerful 5 megapixel camera with autofocus is the icing on the cake. Video recording can be done at 640 x 480 resolutions maximum and the quality is noteworthy.
The battery life of the HTC Imagio is questionable, the high quality web browsing and tremendous multimedia display can ware out the batteries in less than 6 hours. Priced at only US$199 the HTC is amazingly viable and affordable. Coupled with the latest features there are not many smart phones that provide the ingenuity of the HTC Imagio.
