JVC intros D-ILA Home Theater projectors with Clear Motion Drive

JVCHomeTheaterIn a bid to further strengthen its D-ILA line up, JVC announced six new additions to the latest home theater projector lineup. The newly introduced projectors are the DLA-RS35, the DLA-RS25, the DLA-RS15, the DLA-HD990, the DLA-HD950 and the DLA-HD550.

The latest JVC projectors will feature a contrast ratio of 70,000:1. Four of the six models are also THX certified. The contrast ratio supported by these projectors is the highest ratio currently found in the market.

The projectors feature JVC’s 120Hz Clear Motion Drive technology to reduce motion blur and optimize the projector for different screen types. The DLA-RS35, DLA-RS25, DLA-HD990 and DLA-HD950 are approved by the ISF. They include the ISF C3 mode. They also highlight company’s latest picture modes. These four models are also approved by THX.

The 0.7-inch full HD D-ILA devices sport company’s wire-grid optical engine. The new JVC projectors will deliver an unrivaled native contrast. They are also capable of getting rid of the dynamic iris. These features bring true blacks and luminance details.

The DLA-RS35 and DLA-HD990 come along a 3-year warranty. The two projectors will carry superb performance. All the six projectors uncover HQV Reon-VX video processor of Silicon Optix. It is useful for outstanding image reproduction. They are also featured with 1.4 – 2.8:1 zoom lens with motorized focus. The focus brings a large diameter and an all-glass lens system.

The projectors enable the customers to fine-tune the gamma curve through an on-screen display. The set-up is flexible as ±80 percent vertical and ±34 horizontal motorized lens shift function. They also feature an external 12-volt trigger, V-Stretch mode, automatic lens cover and support for HDMI version 1.3.

The JVC D-ILA home theater projectors will hit the market this September. Both DLA-RS35 and DLA-HD990 are priced at $10,000 (approx. Rs. 4,85,820) while DLA-RS25 and DLA-HD950 can be purchased for $8,000 (approx. Rs. 3,88,660). The DLA-RS15 is available for $5,500 (approx. Rs. 2,67,203) while the DLA-HD550 is priced at $5000 (approx. Rs. 2,42,902).
