Kingston has announced the availability of 2nd Gen MobileLite flash card reader, which has the capacity of transferring files from memory cards to the computer at a very quick speed. Called the Kingston MobileLiteG2, the latest flash card reader boasts of offering compatibility for a variety of card formats, such as; Memory Stick PRO Duo, microSD, SD, SDHC, Memory Stick Micro, micro SDHC and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo.
The Kingston MobileLiteG2 flash card reader is too tiny to get fitted into the pocket. As its features, its plug and play setup is touted to provide additional enhancement to its appeal.
Wendy Lecot, Flash card business manager, Kingston, was quoted to have said that the MobileLiteG2 isn’t just handheld or portable reader, but it also comes in Lilliputian size. And it is all because of its portability that helps it make quick and speedy management of the content among the devices, such as, a digital camera, MP3 player, mobile phone and a range of device that come built-in with a USB connection, like a PC. For business users and consumers, the device is made an indispensable part of one’s mobile gear thanks to the simple plug-and-play ability and compact size.
Measured just around 2.45 x 1.16 x 0.646 inch and weighed only 18.9g, the MobileLiteG2 also boasts of offering a perfect compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 port. Its light weight makes it fully handheld and portable. The flash reader comes with a 2-year warranty.
The Kingston MobileLiteG2 flash card reader is expected to be shipped in standalone as well as in terms of a bundle, which comes included with 4GB or 8GB Class 4 SDHC card. Backed by a 2-year warranty, the flash reader has not got any detail about its price, but as and when it comes, we will let you know. Small is always beautiful.
