The most common issue with Klipsch earphones is the comfort as most earphones from the manufacturer don’t fit well and comfortably. But the Klipsch has tried to resolve these issues with the launch of new Klipsch Image X5 earphones. The lightweight earphones are aimed at consumers who demand comfort as well as the good sound quality as most of the earphones suffer the problem of distortion at high end. But the earphones are quite pricey as they are priced as $250. The earphones provide excellent response to the change in the volume level as the higher volumes gives flat response without any distortion.
The lightweight earphones are so small that you might forget that you are wearing them. They are designed to fit comfortably to the ear. As the features, the earphones are made of aluminum and weigh just 0.39 ounces. Though the earphones are very small but they reduce the noise significantly and provide such powerful audio that you might be surprised. The earphones are connected with the jack through a 50-inch cable. The jack has standard size of 3.5mm and is so small that it can easily fit the jack of iPhone. The package include a pouch, five pairs of earpiece gels tips of different sizes, cleaning tool and airplane adapter that you don’t see with most earphones these days.
Most of the earphones offer noise and distortion at higher volumes but the X5 has nearly zero distortion at higher end. But this does not mean that the X5 are distortion free. The distortion occurs just below the maximum volume but not many users would prefer to listen at such high volume unless they want to compromise their hearing ability. Though the X5 earphones lack the bass but they don’t suffer with the songs that has deep and resonant sound. So those who love the flat response than the bass heavy audio will definitely have good experience with Image X5.
