Kodak EasyShare M580, M575, M550 and M530 Digital Camera

After my prior post on Kodak Slice, I thought this is enough from the company, but when today I looked around the web, I was glad to find the four new Easyshare cameras, called as the M530, M580, M575, M550. All these cameras come included with Smart Capture, HD content capture and face recognition.

All of the cameras, though, may be good in some or other point, but they don’t appeal me like the Kodak Slice did as the latter one, at least, is properly named rather than a fiddly number like these cameras have. Anyways, there is nothing kept in names, all depends on the features and functionality. So, let’s individually get to know about the specs sheet of these cameras.

First to come in the lineup of Easyshare cameras is the M530, which comes built-in with a 12mp, 69mm (2.7-inch) LCD and 3x optical. Attractively colored in green, red, blue, carbon and orange, this camera comes with the price tag of around £120 and slated to be made available during February 2010.

Next to lineup is the M550, which boasts of 12mp snapper including 5x zoom. Priced at £140, this camera is available to grapple in shades like blue, dark grey and green, while it is expected to be made available in March 2010.

Third to talk is the all new M580, which brags of a 14mp snapper along with 8x optical zoom, HDMI connection for all the hi-def video shot by it and the 76mm (3-inch) LCD. Coming in the colors like brown, silver and purple, the M580 can be snapped up with the price tag of around £180, and as to its availability, it is expected to be made available in April 2010.

Last but not the least is the M575 comes packed with 14mp, HD video and 76mm screen, however, now it boasts of a 5X zoom. Hued in black, red and green, the consumers can grabbed the camera with the price of around £170. Similar to the M580, the M575 is also all set to hit the selves in April. So, for now, it is hard to predict about their success, but it is quite clear that all these cameras will have to face tough competition from the others.
