It has been designed to meet the purpose of low cost per page, although a bit slower in performance as per business applications are concerned. The photocentric features of ESP 9 includes, its ability to print directly from the PictBridge cameras, its memory cards, USB keys and 3 inch color LCD display for seeing preview of photos before printing. One major drawback of it is that it can scan directly to a memory card but not to a USB key. Kodak’s ESP 9 All-In-One printer is capable of scanning to e-mails, by installing an e-mail message on your PC and then attaching the scanned document to the message. Its 100 sheet capacity (maximum) makes it ideal for only light duty usage.
Measuring 10 x 17.5 x 17 inches in size, the Kodak ESP 9 All-In-One printer requires Windows XP SP2 or higher and comes with drivers, a full set of softwares for Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Mac OS 10.4.8 and above (according to Kodak). It has an extremely remarkable front panel control, that responds to even a slightest touch. The output quality of the texts is quite good, but as per graphics and photos is concerned it is not satisfactory. As per cost of running is concerned, cost per monochrome page is 2.3 cents and per color page it is 6.9 cents (as claimed by Kodak).
