Kodak has revamped its line-up of digital video cameras. This time the company has rolled out Zi8 pocket camcorder, which is built-in with 5mp camera and comes included with 1080p of resolution.
The Zi8 camcorder not just has stunning looks, but it also comes with an ultra and sleek compact design. It is also integrated with an electronic image stabilizer. The camera can also be used to upload images on YouTube and Facebook. Users can easily and quickly upload the images to these social networking sites.
Phil Scott, global Director of Marketing, Digital Capture and Devices and VP, Consumer Digital Group, says that video and images help us get hooked up with friends and family. Through the KODAK Zi8 Pocket Video Camera, you can spontaneously take HD video – of emotional moments of just plain laugh-out-loud moments and of ‘can you believe that?’ moments, – and thereafter easily and quickly share them.
Besides, if you want to view the clicked images, the camera comes with a vivid 2.5-inch full color LCD. And its swing-out USB arm can be used for fast sharing and uploading of images. It also helps charge the camera. The device works well with Mac and PC. Plus, it is also comes with an expandable memory of around 32GB via MicroSD/SDHC cards.
The device is further featured with External microphone jack and smart face tracking technology. Users can also use the Kodak Pocket Video remote control to record or play a specific video. The Zi8 also comes with the accessories such as KLIC-7004 lithium ion batteries, SDHC memory cards; adventure mounts for helmets, flexi-tripod, handlebars and more. Kodak also has offers of camera bags, cases and neck straps.
The Kodak Zi8 HD pocket camcorder is slated to be shipped in September in raspberry, aqua and black color. It will be priced for $179.95.
