Heartbeats by Lady Gaga : Headphones from Monster

Pop sensation Lady Gaga recently launched specially designed headphones for Monster. Lady Gaga has specifically designed these headphones considering her own design choice and other aspects. The interesting look of Heartbeats headphones will surely lure millions of Lady Gaga fans. But, besides that it would be hard for Monster to find buyers. Unique and eye-candy design are not enough factors to sustain in competitive market these days. These exclusive headphones are now available at online retail stores including Amazon and local retail stores.

Monster has introduced the headphones in three colors- Rose Red, Bright Chrome and Black Chrome. The headphones are shipped with multiple ear tips so that they can be fit for everyone. Reduction in outside noise is expected within-ear design of the headphones. But, it seems that Lady Gaga has ignored ergonomic design requirements and hence earpieces eventually slip out of ears regularly. Good thing is that Heartbeats are shipped with exclusive flat cables by Monster which are apparently tangle-resistant and easy to handle.

The retail box of Heartbeats contain a cool travel case which suits the unique style of the headphones and four earbuds along with the Lady Gaga creation. Heartbeats headphones are available with Dr. Dre’s exclusive ControlTalk feature that lets you use these headphones with modern-world music players. Using Monster’s ControlTalk headphone cable, users can connect their new headphones to popular music toys such as iPod Nano, iPod Touch as well as iPod Shuffle. The product comes with a three-year limited warranty.

While the product is not up to standards considering its price tag, its popularity has raised counterfeiting problems for Monster as cheap Chinese copies of Heartbeats are available for as much as half of its original price. While retail price of Heartbeats is about $120, you can get one for yourself at online stores such as Amazon for a bargain price of $99. But due to some comfort issues and mediocre sound quality, it’s not really a great deal for $99 either. While there are far better products available in the market for about $100, fashion enthusiasts and trendy music lovers would surely give it a try even with its modest feature set.
