It was the time when Leica had come up with its Leica MP Edition Hermes in 2003, and now following the legacy of exclusive and beautiful cameras, the company has rolled out Leica M7 ‘Hermes’, which is claimed to be an exclusive edition of the traditional 35mm rangefinder system camera.
The limited edition camera, according to the company, comes hued in silver chrome with a variety of two calfskin leather finishes, such as; ‘etoupe’ and orange. Each camera will be introduced just in 100 colors and each of the cameras is expected to come in a special chronological serial number between 200/200 and 001/200.
On the feature front, the beautiful camera comes subsumed with wide-angle lens, a Leica SUMMILUX-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH, a LEICAVIT M rapid winder, matching round lens hood as well as a leather carrying strap, which matches with camera’s and boasts of a silk-lined, linen-covered box.
As tis reviews, the top plate also comes carved with the name of Leica in traditional script. Besides, the particular shade of the camera’s leather swaps 7 settings on the shutter speed dial and the red color of the imprinted auto.
The Leica M7 Edition Hermes is available to purchase from authorized dealers of Leica and the Leica Store Mayfairstores in the UK, slated to take place during December 2009. As to its pricing, the exclusive camera comes with the price tag of around 8500 Pounds.

Though, there is not much to talk about the specs and features of this exclusive camera, it is surely going to grab the attention of camera buffs. The reason to allure the consumers is its coming after a very long time. However, it is hard to say anything about its standing in today’s competitive market as it is already swarming with a lot of other feature-packed and state-of-the-art cameras. Now, let’s see what it does here.
