To cater the growing demand of thinbooks, Lenovo has expanded their “Idea” PCs series with the introduction of the IdeaPad U350, G550 laptops and the IdeaCentre C300 all-in-one desktop. Three latest light, thin yet loaded computing devices will be rolled out in the market for small-office-home-office users and consumers.
Where the IdeaPad U350 laptop will be lightweight and thin with reliable and superior features within your means, the G550 laptop will be included with fast processing and memory built-in with robust graphics in a new chic yet professional design for business professionals. While the IdeaCentre C300 desktop features entertainment efficiency for students and families.
But here we are to focuses on the IdeaPad U350 laptop, which comes with advanced sleek silver shell and is one-inch thick. Weighing just 3.5 pounds, the machine has an Intel ultra low voltage CPUs at its heart. Users can opt for the Intel Pentium SU2700, Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 or Intel Celeron 723 processor.
The machine is capable of working with Mobile Intel GS40 and GS45 Express chipsets in conjunction with Mobile Intel GMA 4500M and Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHDMemory graphics. It comes with around 8 GB high speed DDR3 memory and around 500 GB of hard drive. Plus, it has a 13.3-inch LED panel with 16:9 aspect ratio and hi-def (1366 X 768) resolution. It also comes with a multi-touch touchpad, Dolby Sound Room/two 1.5 watt speakers and 1.3 mp camera.
Besides, the machine also comes integrated with, 4-in-1 multi-card reader; VGA ports an HDMI connector, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, non-Intel wireless b/g/Bluetooth. Plus, the machine is also included with the Ambient light sensor technology, which can be used to adjust the brightness of the screen in accordance with the environment light for reduced eye strain.
Likely to be shipped in the market by July, the IdeaPad U350 laptop will have the price of around $649 (approx. Rs. 30,907).
