Lenovo has come up with the launch of its new range of notebook PCs with five options of screen size and a varied palette of style, color and design.
The new range comes packed with lots of glaring features such as gesture recognition for user-friendliness, expanded facial recognition for convenient and easy log-in, one-key rescue system to get back data with only single touch and High-definition entertainment specifications.
Amar Babu, Managing Director, Lenovo India, was quoted as saying, “Having received an overwhelming response to our consumer PC range, we are investing further in the Indian market with the launch of this impressive new product range. The consumer PC segment is one-third of the total PC market in India and is growing at a very fast pace. We are riding this wave and we believe this new range offers the best mix of great looking products with great features to consumers.”
The latest product range of Lenovo includes the U330, a high-end, first-class, ultra-light and ultra-thin laptop; the Y330 a mainstream notebook focused on high-definition entertainment plus the S9 and S10, fashionable and compact Netbooks, which have specifically been crafted for daily computing. This is round up by two extra laptops that are the G230 and the G430 designed specifically considering the budget market. Each of these Lenovo laptops feature Bright Vision, Dolby, Veriface, One-key rescue, frameless screen as well as the entire engineering of Lenovo.
Weighing 1.95 kgs, the U330 has a deep blue shiny cover, with 13 x 0.9 inch dimensions. It also comes built-in with the avant-garde version of VeriFace facial recognition technology, touch-sensitive multimedia controls and Dolby Home Theatre. It also has HDMI with DDR III, ultra slim LED backlit display panel and an integrated DVD burner.
Apart from all that it consists of switchable graphics to let the user sprint energy-efficient built-in graphics whilst on battery power and move to high-def distinct graphics for robust performance while “plugged in.” And from the security point of view, it has APS (Lenovo’s Active Protection System), an aspect initiated on Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks that claims to help safeguard the data on the hard drive in case the notebook should drop down. If the operating system crashes, users can get back their data with the touch of one button with the One-Key Rescue System. The U330’s price begins at Rs 63,990.
