Lenovo netbooks come built-in with Dolby Headphone technology

Lenovo has come up with the rollout of two new netbooks, which, by virtue of its Dolby Headphone technology, boasts of providing premium high-quality sound. Known as the IdeaPad S12 and S10-2, the latest notebooks are lightweight and ultra portable devices.
The Dolby Headphone technology helps you take full advantage of surround sound music with the help of any pair of headphones. It makes use of about five virtual speakers in a virtual room, thus offering your more natural listening sensation.
Mary Anderson, Marketing Director, PC Segment, Dolby Laboratories, was quoted to say that Dolby stands for enhanced and multi-channel audio. Dolby Headphone proves that the handheld products such as the S10-2 and IdeaPad S12 netbooks don’t need to forfeit the entertainment experience for size.
Wei Jun, VP, Notebook Business Unit of Lenovo Idea Product Group, was quoted to say that in crafting the latest IdeaPad S10-2, Lenovo was aimed at providing an ideal balance of performance, size and price. The Dolby Headphone lets them give a full entertainment experience. Its processing efficiency helps the latest IdeaPad S10-2 process an enhanced surround sound experience but for over loading battery and processor life.
Further, users can now listen comfortably with their headphones, devoid of any fatigue that is generally observed during headphones usage. The Dolby Headphone is compatible with any PC audio source.
The Dolby Headphone can be built-in any product that has a headphone output. It can also process stereo or multichannel audio like PCs, handheld DVD players, digital TVs, and wireless devices.
The company has not disclosed the availability and pricing details of the product so far, but as and when it comes we will let you known.
