Without beating about the bush, the Tianji EB-605 is an e-book reader, which is reported to be rolled out by Lenovo. Yes, it’s Lenovo that now wants to try its hands in the e-book market. The e-readers are becoming immensely popular nowadays thanks to their ease of use and portability.
Thus, this gives rise to one more runner to manufacturers whereas consumers have a new choice to hunt for in e-reader market. The e-readers that have increasingly been improved and enhanced with new innovations are now being embraced by all and sundry. The users seem to have forgotten the taste of traditional readers or you can say the companies trying to wipe those roots. Though earlier e-book reader were just basic and were not so smartly and innovatively crafted, taking into account the increasing demands and their ease of use these readers are now being built-in with advanced features and cutting-edge technology.
Lenovo’s first Tianji EB-605, though at present, revolving in wild, has been leaked with a glimpse of features. If media reports are believed, the latest and upcoming e-book reader will come built-in with a 6-inch display, which is standard size of the majority of e-books from others. Driven by a 400MHz Samsung ARM CPU, the all-new device is also said to offer support for a variety of much-liked file formats, like CHM, DF, TXT, HTM, EPUB, RTF, HTML, DJVU, PDF, PRC and MOBI.
And as far as the dimensions of the Lenovo’s first Tianji EB-605 are concerned, it is said to come with the measurement of around 178mm x 128.4mm x 9.9mm. But, as to pricing and availability details of the device, there is no word from the company so far.
The D-day for Lenovo is still awaited and it seems it will have to face a tough fight from the others that have already placed themselves in this market, but mind it here Lenovo is also not lesser than others.
