Lexmark launches three different series of Mono Laser MFP Printers

lexmark-x463deLexmark has announced to introduce its nine new monochrome laser multifunction printers (MFPs). According to the company, these printers are specifically aimed at use for small and medium workgroups. The company has categorized these printers under three different series: the X264dn, X360, and X460. The company has designed the Lexmark X264dn and X360 Series for small workgroups. These two models are network-ready devices featuring an impressive operator panel. These two models give the print output with up to 1,200 by 1,200 dpi print quality. They also boast of scanning capabilities and can scan using their 24-bit color CCD scanner. These printers house a 50-sheet automatic document feeder which helps to scan two-sided documents. You can also procure an optional paper drawer that will help you to expand the capacity of these models up to 850 sheets.

The Lexmark X460 Series offers Lexmark’s customizable e-Task color touch screen. With the help of this touch screen, you can access a wide range of features such as two-sided scanning, user authentication, and advanced copying. You also get the option to personalize your own e-Task touch screen with the help of the Lexmark’s MyMFP solution. If you have small or a medium workgroup of about four to ten people, you can obtain access to industry-specific solutions of streamlining paper-based processes, reducing page volumes, and increasing productivity by using the optional Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework.

The X460 Series also features instant warm-up fuser technology. This technology is special in the fact that it reduces the print time considerably. The Lexmark X460 Series aims to offer you a variety of security feature. This will in turn enable you to protect data and provide you security against attacks that might occur on unsecured network communications.

All these printers also belong to the family of eco-friendly devices. They feature Eco-Mode and Quiet Mode, save energy, and reduce noise. The printers are shipped with Lexmark Return Program Toner Cartridges. This means that these cartridges can be returned to Lexmark free of cost for remanufacturing or recycling. The X400 Series will carry price tags of $999 to $1,599. The price of X264dn series is kept at $399, and the X360 Series of printers will sell at a price starting from $499 going up to $699.
