Lexmark – X7675 reviews – an excellent and affordable multi purpose printer

These days’ multipurpose printers have become the ultimate tool for organizations and business houses. These multipurpose printers can be used, in addition to printing, for scanning, copying and faxing. The new Lexmark X7675 has come out to be a better and more capable multipurpose printer than many others in the market. The X7675 is based on Lexmark’s popular inkjet technology. It rests smartly in a plastic casing with a flatbed scanner that is complete with 25-sheet feeder on the top. Up to 100 blank sheets can be fed into the printer in one instance. The front side of the device carries a large angled control panel which has a colour display. A set of slots alongside the control panel enable the user to browse and print direct from memory cards without the use of a PC. A down side here is that the USB port available on the front of the device can only be used with PictBridge enabled devices and not with ordinary USB memory sticks.

At the back of the device, the user can find a USB 2.0 interface for direct PC attachment, two jacks for the fax modem, a local handset, a Gigabit Ethernet port for LAN attachment, and a stubby aerial indicating the presence of a built-in WiFi print server. The scanner is provided with Lexmark’s ‘high yield’ black and colour cartridges. The printer can print around 500 black-only pages and 350 colour pages in one refill.

The printer has a maximum print speed is 32ppm for black and 27ppm for colour pages. The quality of the prints is more than adequate for most business purposes. The X7675, thanks to its built-in display and clearly labeled buttons, can be conveniently used as a copier too. With the help of the supplied Windows software, the user can scan documents on the device. Faxing is also very convenient with the Lexmark X7675. In a nut shell, the X7675 is a compact and affordable package of a lot of usable functionality and a perfect business companion.
