LG will soon hit the USA market with the launch of its SL80 LCD series and SL90 series of LED HDTVs. The two series will transform the home entertainment experience from something ordinary into something better as it comes included with a single edge-to-edge panel of glass over a slim bezel.
These advanced-looking HDTVs, the company says, will surly turn your heads doesn’t matter where you place them. The hidden speaker design also augments the appearance of these HDTVs. The series also boasts of being integrated with the avant-garde picture technology and energy saving attributes such as the Intelligent Sensor that has automatic option to fine-tune the TV’s picture to the surrounding lighting conditions.
Peter Reiner, senior VP, marketing and strategy, LG Electronics USA, Inc, said that the consumers look for such a chic technology, which can effortlessly fit into their presented home environment, but for making any sacrifice to the sophisticated technology they are used to. Through the SL90 and SL80, LG has concocted the best-of-the-breed display and design technology.
As the features, the SL80 series comes incorporated with the slim CCFL technology in conjunction with TruMotion 240Hz, which helps the series attain its better-quality picture quality and thin profile. The SL80 series is measured not more than 1.8-inches in thickness. Whereas, the LED display technology of SL90 boasts of providing better energy efficiency and picture quality.
Besides, the users are also provided with LG’s four Core Technologies, which is built-in with Invisible speaker system, AV mode II, Clear Voice II and Picture Wizard. The SL80 series goes along with the Energy Star 3.0 ratings.
As its reviews, the SL80 is scheduled to be shipped in August and will be priced as per their sizes. The 42-inch, 47-inch, and 55-inch HDTVs will come with their respective price range from $1,599.95, $1,899.95, and $2,799.95.
The SL90 series is expected to be rolled out next year in 47 and 42- inch sizes. There is no word as to the pricing of this series.
